Description:

SLA Toronto, with Cindy Beggs and Akendi, invite you to an exciting session on Wednesday, November 2 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM about how user experience (UX) and user centered design (UCD) methods can enhance the ease of use of the information products and services offered by special libraries to their clients and how special libraries can increase users’ understanding of their value. Cindy will present on what defines UCD, user research and usability testing; how these methods can help communicate value to stakeholders; why user research and usability testing should be conducted; and how to get started tomorrow.

Join us to learn about how you can make improvements to your information centre’s services, web or mobile offerings by applying a user centred approach and see how your library skills can be applied outside of special libraries.

Light refreshments will be provided.
